Codes expire 24 hours after they're created. Ask the sender for a new one if yours doesn't work.
When you plug in your Hark, it creates a temporary Wi-Fi network called Hark-Setup-XXXX. Join it from your phone's Wi-Fi settings, then come back here.
Once joined, your Hark will show a 6-digit code on its display. You'll confirm the code on the next screen.
Look at your Hark's display. If the numbers match, tap Confirm.

Hark's microphone is off until you hold the dome. A hardware switch on the back physically disconnects the mic — it's not just software.
